Our family recently enjoyed a stay at Villa Mencia, and it turned out to be a great experience for us. As a photographer and adventurer, I’m always on the lookout for places that blend comfort with accessibility for outdoor activities, and this hotel certainly delivered. Located at the edge of the village, Villa Mencia boasts beautiful surroundings and practical amenities that are ideal for families. The spacious rooms with air conditioning and comfortable beds made for a restful stay. We particularly enjoyed the little balcony where my partner and I could unwind while keeping an eye on the kids. The staff, especially Eva, were incredibly accommodating when it came to my husband's coeliac needs. The dinner menu had several options modified to be gluten-free, and the breakfast selection was also superb, ensuring everyone was well-fed and ready for the day. On one of our adventures, we discovered Palacios and Losada Vinos De Finca, where we tasted some local wines—a lovely activity to share with fellow wine-lovers. Villa Mencia provided a perfect base for our family vacation, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay in the area.
